About Integrity Labs
We're an affordable, ISO 17025–accredited laboratory built for clients who take quality control seriously. Since day one, our goal has been to pair rigorous analytical testing with the kind of responsive, personal service that's hard to find at larger contract labs.
Our Story
Integrity Labs was founded with a clear purpose: make high-quality laboratory testing accessible, fast, and affordable—whether you're a supplement manufacturer shipping product, a mold inspector serving homeowners, or a property manager protecting tenants. We saw an industry full of long lead times, opaque pricing, and impersonal service, and we knew there was a better way.
Today, our ISO 17025 accredited facility delivers results in 48–72 hours with flexible payment terms and a level of transparency that sets us apart. Every test includes digital images of your results, so you see exactly what we see. No black boxes. No guesswork. Just clear, defensible data.
We're real people who answer our phones, reply to emails promptly, and treat every sample like it matters—because it does. Whether you're a startup shipping your first product, an established manufacturer running hundreds of lots per month, or an IAQ professional who needs same-day mold results, you get the same dedicated attention.
“We don't just test your samples. We give you the confidence to act on the results.”
Meet the Team
The people behind every result. Our team combines deep scientific expertise with a genuine commitment to client service.
Marcus Hale, M.S.
Founder & Laboratory Director
Marcus is a microbiologist with over fifteen years of experience in analytical laboratory operations, spanning food and dietary supplement testing as well as environmental microbiology and mycology. His interest in microbiology began in a high-school AP biology class and never let up—by the time he finished his undergraduate work, he knew he wanted to build a lab that operated differently from the large contract facilities he’d worked in.
After earning his B.S. in Microbiology with a business minor from the University of Florida and an M.S. in Applied Microbiology from Florida State University, Marcus spent several years in commercial labs—including environmental testing facilities focused on indoor air quality—before founding Integrity Labs. His vision was straightforward: deliver the same rigorous, accredited testing that big labs provide, but with faster turnaround, transparent pricing, and the kind of personal service that only comes from a team that genuinely cares about your results.
Marcus also serves as a technical advisor to several industry working groups focused on harmonizing microbiological methods for dietary supplements and environmental testing, and he remains actively involved in research around indoor air quality science and foodborne pathogen reduction in agricultural supply chains.
Rachel Okafor
Lead Microbiologist
Rachel holds a B.S. in Biology with a microbiology emphasis from Florida Gulf Coast University. Before joining Integrity Labs, she spent three years at a clinical reference laboratory running bacteriology and molecular panels, followed by two years at an environmental testing lab specializing in mold analysis and indoor air quality assessments—experience that gave her an exceptionally sharp eye for detail and a deep appreciation for method validation across both product and environmental testing.
At Integrity Labs, Rachel oversees day-to-day bench operations and serves as the primary analyst for both client microbial testing and environmental sample analysis, including spore counts and mold identification. She’s known around the lab for her meticulous technique and for always being the first person to volunteer when a rush order comes through. Outside of work, Rachel is an avid trail runner and a dedicated foster parent to rescue dogs—currently on foster number fourteen.
Carlos Medina
Quality Assurance Microbiologist
Carlos earned his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Central Florida and brings a unique analytical chemistry perspective to the microbiology team. Since joining Integrity Labs, he has been instrumental in expanding the lab’s capabilities into allergen testing, asbestos and lead analysis, and wet chemistry methods—bridging the gap between the lab’s product testing and environmental testing divisions.
He played a key role in implementing the lab’s current LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and has worked closely with Marcus to refine quality system documentation ahead of ISO 17025 surveillance audits. Carlos is a problem-solver at heart and is happiest when he’s optimizing a workflow or validating a new method.
Elena Vega
Quality Assurance Microbiologist & Lab Supervisor
Elena brings a strong QA foundation to Integrity Labs, with prior roles at multinational pharmaceutical companies, nutraceutical manufacturers, and environmental testing laboratories. She holds a degree in Chemical Technology from the Universidad de Puerto Rico and has spent the better part of a decade building and auditing quality systems in both GMP-regulated and ISO 17025-accredited environments.
As Lab Supervisor, Elena is responsible for maintaining compliance across all testing operations—from supplement microbial screening to environmental mold analysis—training new analysts, and serving as the primary point of contact for client quality teams. She ensures that every certificate of analysis and environmental report leaving the lab meets both regulatory requirements and the high internal standards Integrity Labs is built on. When she’s not in the lab, Elena enjoys spending time with her family and planning the next cruise vacation.
